There are currently 6.8 billion souls living in our world. One can read on the internet, observe in any newspaper or watch on any news broadcast about the condition of the world we are living in today. Everywhere we look we see the darkness of this present world. Souls all throughout the world are looking for some good news. They are looking for the light of God to shine down upon their situation. The financial market has let them down, their government has let them down and their religion has left them wanting. If there was ever a day when the population of this world needed some good news that hour is now. We hear about earthquakes in divers places, we read about wars and rumors of wars and one can easily conclude that we are living in perilous times. If there was ever a time when this world needed a true Apostolic presence this time is now.

God is bringing up a generation of young people who are willing to travel to the four corners of the earth to bring the Good news to a bad new world. There are many young people within the ALJC who have a great passion and desire to change the world. God has given us the power through his spirit and his soul saving gospel to change this world.

We as Apostolic’s have the “Good News” this world is waiting for. God has prepared a great dispensation for the young people of today. The Lord is preparing the world for the greatest Apostolic revival it has ever seen. We as Apostolic Crusaders have a great responsibility. We all must understand that God trusts his revival in us we must remain prayerful and humble if we want to experience this great outpouring.

The ACYC leadership wants to ensure that the young people of the ALJC do not miss their moment in becoming world shakers. We want to use the ACYC to impact a generation of young people to reach their world. Our prayer is simply that God would move on the hearts of every young man and every young woman to become so passionate about the destiny God has for them that they will never be satisfied with life until they fulfill the perfect will of God in their lives.

About Our Trips

We want to use the ACYC as a vehicle to allow the young people of the ALJC to gain exposure to world. Our vision is to equip, empower and to engage the Apostolic Crusaders to become the next generation world changing missionaries.

We do realize a 10 day journey to another country is not a sufficient time to totally equip an individual to become a missionary. On the other hand we do believe that one day on a mission’s trip can be enough time to change a young person’s life forever.

During every AYC Mission’s trip we will equip every young person with the tools they need to embark on an even greater journey beyond a short week long trip. We will have teaching sessions covering topics from “Calling to Commission: Understanding God’s Timing and Progress” to “Cultural Awareness: Establishing God’s Kingdom.” Our hope is by using this curriculum each young person will be able to identify with the calling God has placed on their life. Upon their return home, through the help of their local pastor they will use these to tools to become the world changer God has called them to be.

We will empower each young person by allowing time for the spirit of the Lord to move upon their lives. We will have daily prayer meetings and we will also visit several church services. During these times we will encourage every young person to open their hearts to the power of the Holy Ghost. Our prayer is that every young person will return home endued with the most powerful force known in this world, the power of the Holy Spirit.

Not only do we want them to leave the missions trip empowered but we want this power and demonstration to remain with them throughout their remainder of their spiritual journey. This will be accomplished by introducing each young person to the Acts 2:42 & Acts 8:4 lifestyle. The ACYC leadership understands that the only way to continue in this power and demonstration is to be consistently Apostolic. Consistent Apostolic living is accomplished by applying the Acts 2:42 & 8:4 principles to the lives of every young person.

Finally, we want to engage every participant in World Mission’s by giving each young person hands on experience on a mission’s trip. Our goal for each mission trip will be to engage every young person in several capacities of ministry. We will have them teach Bible studies, simple construction jobs like painting and cleaning local churches and serving the local pastors in different capacities. We will also utilize personal spiritual gifts that God has given to each young person by the giving them the opportunity to pray for the sick, sing during services and minster during street meetings.

We also understand that everyone loves to have fun. There will be days set apart to become engaged in the local culture. We want to make sure every young person goes away from each AYC trip having a great time. We will make time to visit open air markets, shopping malls, native restaurants and other activities that can only be experienced in the country we are visiting.
